Texto veut bien dire SMS

    i think u cn use it while typin simple wrds lik gud nite,thnks,etc,..in french instd of eng!!

  3. but writing such words is realy time consuming...i dont really agree that a texto can help improving our french language ... rather there is better chance dat it will deteriote because den v wont pay attention spelling and grammar...:(

  4. I agree with Toral. Texting really does disintegrate grammar as well as pronunciation.
    Pronunciation is of prime importance as it shows how well-informed one is.

    However, basic words like "Bonjour", "merci" etc. can be typed in.

    As for the rest, what do we have Alliance for?

  5. I dont think using french words while msging is really gonna help us improve our french. Writting a msg in french and then reading and replying in the same will take such a long time that most people will chose not to reply atall. Though we can use words like 'Bonjour', 'tres bien' etc. while typing it'll mostly be for the fun of it 'cuz i doubt there is anyone in our class who hasn't alredy learnt these words.
    However it'll be great to use these words while msging our frends who haven't learn french.
